Speech Title: Advanced architectures of Next Generation Wireless Networks

Pascal Lorenz received his M.Sc. (1990) and Ph.D. (1994) from the University of Nancy, France. Between 1990 and 1995 he was a research engineer at WorldFIP Europe and at Alcatel-Alsthom. He is a professor at the University of Haute-Alsace, France, since 1995. His research interests include QoS, wireless networks and high-speed networks. He is the author/co-author of 3 books, 3 patents and 200 international publications in refereed journals and conferences. He was Technical Editor of the IEEE Communications Magazine Editorial Board (2000-2006), IEEE Networks Magazine since 2015, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology since 2017, Chair of IEEE ComSoc France (2014-2020), Financial chair of IEEE France (2017-2022), Chair of Vertical Issues in Communication Systems Technical Committee Cluster (2008-2009), Chair of the Communications Systems Integration and Modeling Technical Committee (2003-2009), Chair of the Communications Software Technical Committee (2008-2010) and Chair of the Technical Committee on Information Infrastructure and Networking (2016-2017). Prof. Xiaodong Liu has been very active in the research in AI-driven software engineering, focusing on pervasive systems (Internet of Things), service-oriented architecture, evolution of cloud services, and intelligence-driven smart systems. He has won 12 external grants and successfully led or leading these externally funded projects with the role of principal investigator. Currently Prof. Liu leads the Intelligence-Driven Software Engineering Research Group. He is the founder a spin out company, FlexiCAGE Ltd. He has published 170 papers in refereed international journals and conferences and 5 book chapters. He is the inventor of 1 patent in Generative Component Adaptation registered in UK, USA and at International Level (PCT). He has been the chair, co-chair or PC member of a number of IEEE and IASTED International Conferences. He is the associate editor of 2 international journals and the editorial board member of 3 international journals. He is the chief editor of 3 IGI Global Research Handbooks. He is the regular reviewer of other 6 international journals. He is a senior member of IEEE Computer Society, and a member of British Computer Society.

Danilo Pelusi received the degree in Physics from the University of Bologna (Italy) and the Ph.D. degree in Computational Astrophysics from the University of Teramo (Italy). Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Communication Sciences, University of Teramo. Dr. Hamed Taherdoost is an award-winning leader and research and development professional. Dr. Zhao Zhang received the Ph.D. degree from City University of Hong Kong in 2013. He is now a Professor at the School of Computer and Information, Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China. He was a Visiting Research Engineer at National University of Singapore, from Feb to May 2012. He then visited the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition at Chinese Academy of Sciences, from Sep to Dec 2012. His research interests include Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition. He has authored/co-authored more than 110 technical papers published at prestigious journals and conferences, including 44 IJCV or IEEE/ACM Transactions regular papers and 37 Top-tier conference papers (e.g., CVPR, NeurIPS, ACM MM, ICLR, AAAI and IJCAI), with Google Scholar citations over 5,000 times and H-index 41. Chao Zeng

Dr. Chao Zeng is currently a Research Associate at the TAMS group, University of Hamburg (UHH), Germany. He received his Ph.D. degree from the South China University of Technology (SCUT) in 2019. His general research interests focus on robot learning control with attention on robot imitation learning, compliant manipulation, and human-robot physical interaction. He has hosted or participated as a main researcher in several international and national projects related to these topics. His research results have been reported in several international journals and conferences including TMECH, TASE, TII, TNNLS, RAL, RAS, and IROS. He has served as a Lead- or Co-Guest Editor for several journals and as a TC member for several international academic conferences.

Sansanee Auephanwiriyakul (S’98–M’01) received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree in electrical engineering from the Chiang Mai University, Thailand (1993), the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering and Ph.D. degree in computer engineering and computer science, both from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1996, and 2000, respectively. After receiving her Ph.D. degree, she worked as a post-doctoral fellow at the Computational Intelligence Laboratory, University of Missouri-Columbia. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and a deputy director of the Biomedical Engineering Institute, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. Dr. Auephanwiriyakul is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). She is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy System, the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, and ECTI Transactions on Computer and Information Technology. She was a general chair of the IEEE International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (CIBCB 2016). Dr. Pooja Singh received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University). She has experience of 21 years in world’s leading CMMi-5 software multinational companies, research organizations and academic institutes. She is currently Assistant Professor in SIES Graduate School of Technology, Navi Mumbai, and has distinction of working in the field of Image processing, Artificial intelligence, Mathematical Modelling, reliability engineering, safety engineering and other mathematical sciences for to solve the various technical challenges in Nuclear Power Plants. She has an illustrious career and succeeded in several critical jobs assigned to him in his illustrious career, though, each of them was challenging. Her assignments over the years range from design, development, testing, IV&V, related research and site validation of the safety critical computer based systems of Indian Nuclear Power Plants. She has published several research papers in journals of high impact factor like IEEE Transactions, IEEE Computer, ACM, Elsevier, Quality & Reliability International, etc. She is recipient of many awards like prestigious IEEE K. Shankar award, publication award, etc. She has also received IEEE Woman Technologist award. She is a reviewer of several SCI indexed journals of high impact factor, including 14 different IEEE Transactions. She is a life member of Indian Nuclear Society. She has been invited for keynote speeches, and talks in many international IEEE and other conferences.
