Professor Mo has presided over and participated in a number of national and provincial scientific research projects, including key national R&D programs and sub-tasks of major national special projects. He has participated in the formulation of 4 national standards and led or participated in more than 10 various industry standards in total.

He has published over ten high-level papers in prestigious international journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications (TWC), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (TII), and Future Generation Computer Systems (FGCS). Additionally, he owns more than 30 invention patents and over 20 software copyrights.

He was awarded the First Prize of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He is listed as one of the primary completers of the 2026 publicly announced project titled "Key Technologies and Applications for Integrated Computing-Network Precision Service Guarantee with Cross-domain Low Resources".
