Prof. Xiaohu Ge received his Doctoral degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2003, and was awarded the Galilei Grant of Italy in 2005. In recent years, he has presided over more than 20 national-level research projects and a number of high-level international scientific and technological cooperation programs. He has published over 200 SCI-indexed academic papers, with more than 9,300 citations on Google Scholar. Many of his representative papers have been awarded Best Paper Awards in relevant fields by the IEEE Communications Society. His research achievements won the Second Prize of Hubei Provincial Natural Science Award in 2016. Currently, he acts as the Chinese Representative on the Council of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) and a Member of the UN Consultative Committee on Information and Communication Technology. He is also an evaluation expert for the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as a review expert for the Hubei Provincial Department of Science and Technology. He is an IET Fellow, Fellow of the China Institute of Communications, an editorial board member of more than 10 top international journals including IEEE Wireless Communications and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. Additionally, he has served as Symposium Chair, TPC Member and reviewer for over 30 international conferences such as IEEE ICC and IEEE Globecom.
